Night Diver

You will discover that visiting a favorite dive site at night is like visiting a whole new dive site. Night diving is an opportunity to observe aquatic life not usually seen during the day. "Because it is there," is probably as good a justification for diving at night as it is for climbing a mountain.

In this course you will learn about dive lights, environmental conditions to avoid while night diving; general night dive planning considerations; what to do in case of light failure, buddy separation, stress; night diving procedures and techniques; and night diving communications.

Dives:  Three dives, one of which could be the night dive you did on the Advanced Open Water course.  Night dives done on trips can be used towards this certification. All divers must have a tank light. primary light and backup light for this course.

Cost: $95.00 includes instructor fee and Certification card.
           Additonal fee for book/dvd: $35.00

Not Included:  Equipment rental, airfills, quarry fee, trip fees and meals.
